And then one day, without warning......we entered the COVID pandemic. And randomly, in an evening plagued with boredom, I created my first handprinted decoupage oyster gilded in gold.  And like everyone at the time, I proudly conducted show and tell on Facebook and Instagram to all of my nearest and dearest.  We were ALL showing off our homemade bread and newly conquered meringue pies right?  Look what I did I proclaimed! Well no one could have prepared me for what was to come.  In just one month, I was pulling all-nighters trying to put out orders of 10, 15, 20 and even 30 at a time. And overnight, without intention, I had a booming little business.   

My process to create these oyster pieces is a thorough 12 step process that begins with sourcing gorgeous shells from the east coast.  Each oyster is made to oyster and no two ever really look exactly the same due to the uniqueness of each shell.  White there are many pattern listed here, anything is possible and custom orders are not out of the question in any way.
